Effective January, 2017, at this link are found papers that come under the general heading: How does the world relate to humanity? The world relates to humanity through the empirical sciences. In applying the sciences to practical and theoretical goals, the mentorship of nature must be followed, both in methods of thought and in methods of research. The sciences have advanced, over the centuries, through a human dialectic with nature’s mentorship. Humanity puts its questions to nature in the form of experiments; nature answers with quantifiable outcomes that can be correlated with other measurement data. This question takes one to the philosophy of science and the epistemological rules governing proper procedures in the sciences.
